The Town of Christiansburg, VA offers Citizen Self Service as a convenient method of viewing Real Estate information and paying Personal Property and Real Estate taxes online. In addition, businesses may now renew their business licenses on this portal.  Every effort is made to insure that accurate information is presented.  The information accessed through this service does not constitute a legal document.  Any discrepancies should be reported by utilizing the Contact Us tab under the Personal Property or Real Estate Modules.  The Town of Christiansburg disclaims any responsibility or liability for any damages resulting from the use of this data.

Real Estate: You do not have to fill in all of the search boxes to search for a property record.

Personal Property: The “Property ID” can be found in the top right hand corner of the bill.

DMV STOPS: If you have a DMV stop, you may only pay using a credit card. Once you have paid your taxes in full, please contact our office so we can release the stop.

Business License: You can now apply for a new business license online.  Please upload a completed (front & back) business license application when setting up your new account.

To renew your business license, you will need to create an account, then log in to “link your account” and submit your renewal. For instructions on how to renew, please see resources menu.. 

*Businesses that have multiple locations will see multiple lines for licenses. The “Ref number” is the “license number” from your existing license for each location.

 

**All businesses in Town limits must complete and submit an alarm registration form when renewing your business license.** All businesses must submit any other forms associated with your type of business.
